The health and well-being of our team members, customers, and community remains our top priority. Capitol City Honda is taking preventative actions to help protect our staff and valued consumers against the COVID-19 Virus.
Capitol City Honda remains open under essential services auto repair and supplies. We understand the vital role we play in the community to keep our guests vehicles working for them. In these times, it is important for people to be able to depend on their vehicle. We will continue operating our business responsibility and in accordance with the guidance received from our federal and local governments.
Starting May 4 we will resume our normal business hours for all departments. Our sales process has changed for everyone’s safety. We would love to chat, email, or call you about that new or pre owned vehicle you are interested in. We have added an Express Car buying option on the website that means you can complete most of the steps in your own home online. Our Sales department can walk you through the steps over the phone or through chat. We have also added a car sanitizing product called Resistall Purify. All vehicles are sanitized before test drives, appraisals, and deliveries.
We want our customers to know that Capitol City Honda has modified our business operations according to the CDC guidelines. We have implemented a scheduled cleaning routine during business hours to thoroughly disinfect all surfaces, door knobs, access handles, light switches and general contact areas. We have hand sanitizer available at all consumer contact areas and at the entrance and exits to the building. We also have gloves available for use by all employees.
Due to the current situation, we have also directed our evening cleaning crew to pay close attention to all high-traffic contact areas and take extra care disinfecting those sensitive areas. All cleaning/disinfecting is being done with hospital grade supplies. Our Service Department is included in this cleaning routine. Additionally they are wiping down the steering wheel, shift knob and door handles of each vehicle and utilizing steering wheel covers. We have instructed our employees not to come to work if they are displaying signs of fever or respiratory illness. We ask our customer to also not enter the building if experiencing any symptoms associated with Covid-19 for the safety of our staff. We are doing everything that we can to ensure that we are actively slowing the pace and impact of this virus.
